Biography
Gwen Fillinger did not grow up racing motocross. She grew up playing team sports — basketball, volleyball, rugby — and found a real love for rugby over 8 years of competition. When she hung up the cleats and decided to try something new, motocross was the last thing she expected to fall for. Starting on a CRF 100, she wasn't sure she would enjoy it. By the end of that first season, she had bought her own bike.
The following season Gwen decided to give racing a try. That first race was nerve-wracking and thrilling in equal measure. She had no idea what to expect — and came out of it excited to get back on the track and learn more. Since then she has accomplished far more than she expected of herself, constantly looking for ways to challenge her abilities and learn new techniques on and off the track. She is excited to see what she is capable of next.
